Farmers Market Dinner: The Harvest Festival
The Lemmon Area Farmer's Market takes place from 5-7 am every Wednesday of the Summer-Fall harvest time at the Grand River Museum. To kick off the end of the farmer’s market season, we (the Placemakers) served a free-will dinner.
Provided and sponsored by LemmonMade, the main course was smoked brats and tasty hamburgers. Do you recognize the grills we are using to fire up the meat? That’s right, they are the grills Hayden made for the 2019 Smoke & Ice Festival. I’m sure they will be handy for many more events to come! With the chilly weather, everyone was volunteering to stand close to them.
Live music by The Nesters was enjoyed by all. Vendors popped up shop to sell baked goods, handcrafted masterpieces and locally grown produce.
Stop by the Lemmon Area Farmer’s Market next year to see what all the fuss is about.
