Our Mission Statement
Placemakers Co-op creates space for makers and do-ers to share ideas, collaborate, build relationships, and use their varied talents for the good of the group and the community.
Simply, we make things happen- i. e., painting classes, community bike tune up, or a winter festival. We love celebrating each individual connection. We believe in giving back and putting in effort to the things we value most.
Placemaker events happen because someone(s) is passionate enough to make it happen. If you would like to help or lead the next placemakers event, come to our next meeting and let’s make it happen.

In other exciting news, Placemakers has taken up residence on Main Street right next to the Palace theatre. We have dubbed it “the Conmon Room,” and we have some exciting ideas for how we would like to use this space for both Placemaker events and for your small events as well. We will roll out more information as we finalize the details.
